Course Structure

Courses in the Curriculum & Instruction concentration focus on the skills needed to design and implement curricula and lead staff development initiatives. The program also uses data and technology to strengthen instruction across diverse student populations.

All Doctor of Education students take eight core courses. Curriculum & Instruction concentration students take four additional courses with work relevant to their current and future careers. Students have the opportunity to work on engaging assignments such as curriculum feasibility and program evaluation. TXWES offers dissertation support from the start.
